About the speaker:
Mr. Vipul Agrawal , Cloud Solutions Technical Specialist, Autodesk, INDIA and ASEAN
Vipul Agrawal has experience in the Product development and manufacturing industry for 10+ years. He holds a master’s in manufacturing technology degree from IIT Bombay and a Mechanical Engineering bachelor’s degree. As an application engineer in his early career, he has worked to understand the requirement and workflow of the industry and implemented solutions to increase their manufacturing efficiencies. His experience in Design and Manufacturing industry lies in providing solutions across different industries like medical, automotive, aerospace, oil and gas etc in Designing, Manufacturing, Design and Manufacturing Automation and Manufacturing Execution systems. Currently he is handling the cloud solutions portfolio of Autodesk Design and Manufacturing and helping industry for technological upscaling.
About the Course:
Generative design is a design exploration process. Designers or engineers input design goals into the generative design software, along with parameters such as performance or spatial requirements, materials, manufacturing methods, and cost constraints. The software explores all the possible permutations of a solution, quickly generating design alternatives. It tests and learns from each iteration what works and what doesn’t. Generative design is changing the way we design, engineer, and manufacture the products of tomorrow.
